Ryza selling well means that there are going to be Atelier games in the future for sure and when it comes to Gust, it means that their focus will mainly be on making Atelier games and they might not make anything else anymore. It'll be bad for Atelier games once there are way to many of them and they can't come up with anything new (the issue DW and SW has).
