Yeah I'd want it since its easier to choose a move than to try to replicate it when I don't use/am familiar with but only 5 characters xD plus it's good for seeing what you can do after the initial "action" of normal hit, block etc. right from the get
Oh I forgot soul calibur had that too xD also the ability to use a jumping attack would be good too like dimensions had so you can test out your jump specific holds too
Yes
Most of them do. Yet, DoA doesn't? Wait, just thought about it, by specific, you mean more character specific that isn't just Jab, elbow, 2P, Throw?
Why I feel like I forget most options in training mode because I don't find myself needing those features as much, just use record.
Yeah like I mean after certain attacks, like say for instance I wanna see what Kasumi can do to deal with a neutral frame 4K from phase 4. I would do her 9PP on block to the dummy since that leaves me at +0(usually since the hitbox is wonky) and then I could choose for the reaction to be 4K
But since you have to consciously pace yourself when you want to record an action you wouldn't know what can crush it, like 44P can crush it but unless you're like me and retry alot, you wouldn't know since 44P with Kasumi is a timing required ss attack that needs to be done at the right moment or else it'll get stuffed
