You mean like for the fuck of it or hunters that do it to feed their families? Or people who hunt so everyone can buy meat at a cheap price? I'm sure there's some that feel bad when they do it.

None of those reasons justify killing innocent animals. Next.

No, I'm literally asking for context lol

I mean it's sad people kill them. It's just that in an economic sense, eating a diet of solely animal meats is bad but also one solely of vegetables is expensive. Health though, Hell the pesticides in our food and preservatives are probably a bigger issue. If I thought deeply of the morality behind how my meal came to be, I'd probably never eat.

They did it for fun. Which makes it even worse. They killed a grizzly and posed with it for fun.

Though, it's worse the conditions they're in before their slaughter is appalling to anyone vegan or not. No reason why an animal should be treated like that before ending their lives. At least make them unaware of what's to come.

See those guys are pricks because they act all tough about killing a grizzly. There's no reason to kill these animals on any basis if you ask me. I don't feel too bad wearing wool since they're only sheared and kept alive and fed well for stronger wool growth. Grizzly was most likely not in range of them.

To me there’s no reason to kill any animal. Except for food and self defence.

There's lots of reasons for hunting. You can kill an animal and freeze their meat and have food for weeks. There's also game hunting which serves as a conservation purpose which is for protecting and preserving biodiversity, the environment and natural resources.

Hunting to reduce population of invasive animals like coyotes/wolves that are coming in and killing farm animals. You can't trap them and relocate them. They found a food source and will keep returning. Killing them and thinning their population is the only option.

Growing up in a rural area I hunted as a kid. I personally don't care for it, but I understand the necessity of it.

Ah yes I get plenty of joy killing that damn fly that’s been BUZZING MY ROOM FOR LIKE A WHOLE ASS DAY!! It’s like a ninja! It just knows where I’m trying to smack it. Ooooh but one day I finally got it. Muahahaha it felt so good !

I, too, don't think twice about killing an asshole creature that only exists to inflict itch marks and diseases upon everybody. If I was a scientist I'd come up with a neutron bomb that instantly deletes such species from this planet

Instead of killing animals to keep their population in control I think it should go for human beings. We’re the ones overpopulating this planet.

And you say people who hunt are sociopaths.....Your statement is definitely not something a normal person would ever say, let alone someone who is supposedly in the medical field.

I was reversing the roles luv, I mean if it’s considered “normal” for animals to have their population kept in check. Why is it abnormal for the human population to be kept in check?
Raansu

An invasive species can completely destroy an ecosystem. Other animals can become extinct because of an invasive predator, or a specific plant life can be wiped out from the region due to overpopulation of said animal eating all those plants among the million other reasons why conservation efforts are a thing. The entire point is to protect species and the ecosystem.

99% of hunters are hunting for food or for conservationist reasons. The rest are poachers and that's not ok and any hunter would tell you that.

That said, there is no "reversing roles" in this conversation. You need to seek help, and I'm not saying this to be mean or be trolly. Your last 2 comments are not normal or ok to say.

Based on 2 comments I need to seek help? Based on what I see on the that 1% that likes to kill for fun seems to be very common. I understand that some of the animals get killed because of conservation. But from the things I see it’s rare. Animal cruelty is not okay.

Raansu got a point unfortunately to your love for animals and understandable hatred for humans. I've been there. To be fair, your statements come off as zoomer'ish. Which is a generation that wants to change every past gen's mess. Some legit, others not so much. Kids today need to understand that people are just going to think different and that all their might isn't going to just instantly change the world.
