The state it's in now is actually pretty good too, it's very fun on a casual/online with friends level. If TN was allowed to make DLC and patch it further this whole time, the game would really be top tier. DOA6U would've been the answer if done correctly and that's what still gets me heated about the whole thing after all this time.

Who's to say that isn't what they're doing now? XD I'm kinda over talking fixes and stuff now, I rather just wait to see for myself what they do since I feel we've had this song and dance time and time again and it means little if they don't announce a proper fix themselves imo. Won't stop me from playing it tho unless a new improved version releases

They're most likely figuring something out and 6 has a core fanbase albeit not a giant number, so it really is better to just accept it for what it is like how we had to accept DOA4 for what it was.

Honestly if they just did more cast changes and buffs and nerfs and made it so break holds and blows costed full meter I'd be happy since that's the main problem is that meter in the game is too generous to spend. And bringing back heavy force techs would be good too since there's no real way to punish people who just lay on the ground

I mean the ground change they have now is a good start but my sister can easily just tech up since the new ground game system's force techs are just too predictable with how there's no heavy tech up

The ground game is ass its a watered down version of DOA4's one with more pushback and i-frames lmaoo, really dont understand why they just didn't put that in the game with more pushback and no combo drop saving since you could tech your enemy off the ground before they even touched it (DOA4). As for break holds they really just dont need that many active frames.

I also don't think that it was a good idea to let it be used anywhere outside of being stunned/fatal stunned.

Yeah it sucks, I do like the latest patches tho that gave us an option to auto pressure but it's so seeable, like if you see Kasumi do 1K after a launch or bound everyone knows to just tech up xD and I think break holds need less active frames and less + on hold, +0 to about -5 would be good for a GOJFC hold if it's not gonna cost but half a meter.
