Playstation's honestly fine for the most part. The PS5 is an impressive machine. I just hate how complacent Sony has gotten since the PS4 Pro onwards. Their actions reek of either arrogance or fear.

Why the change of heart?
I personally converted to PS4 after realizing how much of a waste of money the XBONE was but even now with my XboxSES and game pass, I'm still quite sentimental about my PS4...

Besides, Sony have NEVER done anything even remotely salvageable with the industry like MS or Nintendo.
So, Sony should just cut their loses and kill the brand already before more harm is done to my psyche, or anyone else's. Or we'll never see Xbox on the top spot ever again.

I play PlayStation because I grew up during the high watermark era of the PS3 and PSP (a vastly superior mobile gaming system to the DS that I had previously, which was actually garbage). So many excellent PS originals during that era. Those days are definitely behind PS now, but I don't really feel any need to jump ship. I think the console wars are kind of dumb tbh.
