I like the idea of selling a disc drive upgrade separately for digital PS5 owners. I wish Micro$oft would do something like that with the Xbox Series S.

The whacky part is its actually MORE expensive than the current one. Digital PS5 is $400 while the new model is $450, like why would you do that? Refreshes usually cost less not more. Peak arrogant Sony at play again it seems.

I also noticed that the slim of this generation of Sony consoles is only slightly condensed (looks like 30%) vs the other ones.
The PS3 slim for example, was actually a drastic change vs it's heavy counterpart. Even the PS2 slim was quite a change.
