If the price could get down to around $40-45-ish CAD (don't buy digital games full price) I would be willing to give Granblue Fantasy Versus Rising a shot since I heard that the game's battle pass is decent compared to SF6 or T8.

Not to mention Tekken 8's battle pass is an absolute joke. The stuff you get from it feels so half assed and is stuff no one cares about. At least Fortnite gave out some cool skins and crossovers in their passes. The fact that we all spent $80 USD on this game and are now being nickel and dimed like this honestly makes me not even wanna play. I really hope VF and SC do not adopt this as well.

Unfortunately, this is the norm. I definitely bypass the Battle Pass because it has pointless stuff.

Tekken 8's BP is embarrassingly bad compared to Fortnite or Overwatch 2. Namco is just doing "me 2" with it. I'll definitely will still play T8 with my offline scene (or if anyone I know online would want to play), but I won't be buying any DLC for it and won't really actively support it that much.
