This might be biased as a genfu player but he doesn't need nerfs. Until people actually use the character and not suck with him (theres only like two good genfus) hes fine.

He doesn't need nerfs, but everyone else needs buffs. So few characters possess the tools he has.

Gen Fu is powerful but I am sure he has plenty of drawbacks. His anti-air options seem limited and he takes a while to gain momentum.

GenFu definitely has weaknesses, but he gets ridiculous rewards when he hits you with anything. The reason why there aren't many good GenFus is because next to no one uses him. I agree Code.

Toilet it doesn't take genfu long to gain momentum especially with how easy it is to get a counter hit and the fact the I eliminate wake up kicks....I can literally control the whole match. Problem is no one else has mastered the style like me and all other genfus except for a few throw out random shit and think their good. Anti air doesn't matter in doa toilet since you cant jump....

Maybe I just haven't fought any good Gen Fu's. He and Eliot are the two characters I understand the least. By anti-air I mean like dealing with Busa and Hayates attacks which come from above or Kasumi's dive kick. I usually just holds anyways on those anyways.

Yep, I have to say I don't see people play genfu much online at all. I was just venting a little, because like the 2nd genfu I ever encountered online just DEMOLISHED me. Was the worst beatdown I took in a while.

Oh and by the way, I remember reading someone's post on the forums that made me chuckle a little. Someone said that there are only 2 tiers in DOA5u. There is GenFu at God tier and everyone else at 'mere mortal' tier.
