But reverence my point is that you still won't lose your online habits playing those people lol. I understand what hes saying. Yall are missing my main point. I never got mad at anyone for saying it. I just find it ironic if you have no experience playing offline and act like they do. Lol im done arguing
This isn't an arguement as it is an attempt to understand one another lol.
To lose online habits is to be exclusive to offline and play only top players. That is very difficult to achieve due to employment, school, other life ambitions.
I suspect that the "complaining about online" isn't the issue but the fact that someone said that they felt "cheated" because of online despite the fact that online would pretty much be affecting the other player just as much. I.e. It's fine to complain about online but never say that you would beat someone offline if they clearly have more offline experience than you.
Just hopped back on and the notifications blew me up here.
All I gotta say is, if PPP is -50 on block and if my grab whiffs, that's a problem and I will blame online. Even if there is a short second delay...nope...don't care, still blaming online. Still trolling since the day I lied to someone at a hospital for his wife having a baby, the dude wanted a boy but I told him it's a girl. Dude left his wife there pissed.
At no point did I say I'd be beating SR if it was offline... I know it's obvious he'd be doing better... I shouldn't have to say that in order to have the right to complain about how much better I'd be doing. I use Akira and Ein, characters that rely on reaction, execution and timing in order to function well.
I don't need to speculate on weather or not I'd be doing better offline, I know I would. How much better well that I don't know, SR is right in that regard.
...
Actually I'm done, this is going nowhere and no one is going to change their views. Stubborn folk, the DOA community is.
Although I hate to beat a dead horse, just out of curiosity, what was the point of the you "felt cheated online" comment? It just seemed weird because it would seem like it was assuming that other people wouldn't feel "cheated" online. Everyone does better offline, much better offline, except for people that abuse online tactics. Kinda goes without saying. But, yeah, it's none of my business. So W/e.
I never actually used those words in particular. I was pointing out how annoyed I was at the typical online bull during a session with SR and how much better I'd be doing if it was offline. Then he said the same obviously.
I know the other person is just as gimped online as I am, doesn't change how I feel, it seems as if you guys would rather I just keep my mouth shut. Either way It's done, let's move on.
Force not everyone does better offline in actuality. You have to make an adjustment usually. Which is my entire point. Most peopl get bopped when they first go offline. Bladez is a rare exception.
Hmm... Fair enough. The first thing I try to do when new people come to the scene is show what online tactics don't work as well offline so that they don't become a crutch during a competitive match.
