The risk-reward system is basically so skewed it's laughable. You can get brainless death or near-death combos from only one or two low-risk reads with high chance of success.
This does not scale for double health bars, either. In order to net a half-health bar with the same number of guesses in Singles you must make a very risky move or execute an incredibly precise read.
