Bt 8K easily beaten out by anyone with a brain and can push neutral P. the charge easily low grab punishable,Bt T, not bad does add mix up but still no because no one on this game blocks. and same goes for shining wizard
Tinas a great character in my opinion. her best options are her throws but here's the thing. no one on this game fucking blocks. so trying to grab is really pointless unless they're counter 24/7 which most people know not to so against her
the fact she is so grab reliant is annoying. she can hold her own in a fight... but it just takes so much work apposed to other characters. I want her to have a better strike in the next one and weaker grabs. I'll be happy with that
Better strikes and weaker grabs would make her a poor mans Mila I think. I mean Mila has grabs but she mainly dominates in strikes add her feints and yeah. Tina would need an over haul.
To me Tina rewards excellent reads and her damage from combos alone intimidate the opponent to hold. But then her damage from punishing hold attempts the opponent has to make the right read. I think thats why her strikes look so predictable especially her mids.
Trust me I want her to have better stikes too, getting beat out of 66P kills me inside even though I did it first Milas 6P beat me,
but i do not want to lose how she plays now. I'm no expert on her these are merely things I want, just to improve my style with her. As I'm sure you want the same for your style.
I guess my only real complaint is how many mid punch strings she has. because 98% of the people on this game do nothing but mid punch spam counter and that's just annoying as fuck. grabbing the hell out of them is obviously the best option but I hate it tbh
Yup I agree. But I also rely on that to get my damage. Although I'm often caught mindlessly using the mid (muscle memory) but whenever I get that 140 Hi Counter hold I feel good.
Reason why is because I realized most characters and the way that they are, are intentional. Same with Ein. With the exception of Eliot which could hold some possibilities.
For example, I would tone down Akira's shoulder raw input from 90 > 80 tops on max damage, but change 214P+K to make the followup guaranteed on any situational matter since that's his only potential tracking. But because of TN, it may not happen because that's just how the character is suppose to be. Same with Tina, you could ask for buffs but 90% chance it may not happen. Or the changes will be minor.
You're right though, I wonder why they removed certain moves she had like her standing charge was godlike in 4 and I only see benefits in 5, nothing cheap about it. It wasn't an OH and she could get counter thrown easily from it.
I wouldn't know where to start with tina need if improvements but I know she does. maybe me anything major but just fixing some stuff. it's so frustrating because character wise I feel like she's leagues behind others
