Well, you have two options.
The first is you can find a third party controller from any store that sells electronics/games. Sometimes they come in smaller sizes, but third party controllers can also feel kinda crappy.

The other option is you can get a converter so you can use a PS2/PS3 controller. These are also hit and miss, and usually come with a bit of lag.

I would think that the third party controllers' size difference, if any, was negligible, but it would be the best option. Risking input lag or trying to learn a new controller could be low reward.
