You more or less illustrated the problem right there. You want more people to show up offline yet you overt/covertly clown them for something instead of compelling them to show up.
That's a bit shortsighted. People still watch tournament streams and play the game. Imagine someone has a trademark outfit and is training hard to participate in a tournament in the future and now he sees that he'll be banned.
I don't mind seeing some skin on a stream, but I don't like to see people giving up playing the game and offline participation figures drop because they don't feel compfortable when entering a tournament.
Its kinda pathetic how people are talking this seriously.. I mean come on, they are digial girls in sexy outfits, and it just a game.
The focus should be about the gameplay not what the characters are wearing.
