Ah, I might actually check out some Leifang videos, and try to learn a few things. She really is a cool character, and I've always liked her, but never gotten into using her.
I bet it will be satisfying doing her Advanced Holds and Sabaki's all round long and win.. XD She is amazing as a defensive Char.
All I'd say in terms of a warning, is that she requires a certain mindset. If you're prone to bouts of button mashing, you'll just get your arse handed to you with her. Everything's gotta be really precise, because her recovery times are painful when you miss.
Ah, OK, thank you for the heads-up, @ninemil , I'll definitely try to keep that in mind. I'm used to more offensive Characters, lol. I just have to learn her defensive style, I guess.
Exactly, @Yurlungur . That is why I REALLY want to learn her, to stick it to button mashers and spammers. :P
Oh, you do know her CB is on a quarter circle, right? Do you play on a stick/analogue, or dpad? Not that you rely on CB's so much with Fang - but that's something else you should keep in mind.
Personally I find them a shitter under pressure on a dpad, and I know a fair few friends say the same. A lot easier on the DS4 than on the DS3, admittedly, but still.
I know, and that was the main reason I quit playing her before, with my old, broken 360 controller. Now I use the Xbox One D-pad (on the One) and a fight pad (on the 360) when I play, and quarter circles aren't a problem for me on either one.
