TT_TT one of the very few serious endings in DOA4

@Mayor-Of-Mustard DOA2 and DOA3 were the only ones that had truly serious endings. The fourth game was when things started getting a bit silly..

DOA5's story mode had silly moments but they weren't Jann-Lee-Kicking-A-Dinosaur-And-Hitomi-Gets-Annoyed silly.

It is super sad.. :'( I'm happy it wasn't the end of DOA, though. XD

@xDeviousDespair Ikr? I still play the fourth game to this day, and that ending always reminds on what could've happened.

@Kasumilover98 I sadly do not own DOA4. >_> I kind of want to buy it, but I have never found it anywhere in my closest GameStops. >_> Well, Helena's ending was supposed to be the final ending of the game, right? It wouldn't make sense to leave off the series with that ending, to be honest. Alpha escapes, and Helena being saved by Zack.

I guess the "Zack saving Helena" part was added after they decided this would not be the last DOA game, though.

So it was originally going to end with Helena dying? TT_TT

Most likely.. >_> Alpha was originally going to be killed in DOA4 to leave the series as well, so unless that whole burning down the tower thing was added after TN deciding this would not be the final DOA, Helena was most likely going to die. T_T

Maybe when they were thinking about DOA4, Leifang, Hitomi, etc. their endings were super serious and obviously pointed out the end of DOA, then they were like, "Nah, DOA5," and gave them fanservicey endings instead

In doa 5 Helena should've backhanded Christie.

@Mayor-Of-Mustard That is indeed a possibility. I think they figured out early in development that this would not be the last DOA game, and gave it a more silly feel to it early on.
