Specs? Whats your CPU/GPU usage when playing the game?

Not sure what my CPU usage is.
Im just a little annoyed every game I played yesterday and this morning was fine. It was when I paused for a moment on TERA to get something to eat.. I noticed my game froze but was still somewhat running. But running at like 1FPS.

This just randomly happened. Games that I get 100 FPS in im now getting 25FPS. (RE6 is the current example).

Is it JUST that game or are others affected? Did you add anything to it recently, like a mod or DLC?

I'll check what my CPU usage is when playing DOA. I turned off my PC when I noticed my games were not at its usual framerate and turn it back on but the fan was still spinning and making alot of noise in its boot-up phase. I later on gave my PC an hour cooldown with the plug switched off and I noticed that when I turned it back on, the fan inside is not not spinning like crazy.

@Randzz. All my games are being effected.

Sounds like it might be some hardware error. When a fan isn't even doing anything that's a problem. Better give that PC a good old fashioned physical diagnostic if you've not done so already. I mean the works.

I checked the CPU usage and it's 20%. That sounds normal..

Wait WTF. The problem was Steam?! I noticed Steam had 30% on it for GPU usage even though the application wasn't even on. I turned it off and went to go test on DW. Im getting my FPS back to wait how it was and the PC is even quieter.

Glad you got it to work. Btw higher GPU usage when a game is running is good most of the time.
