It makes you come off as salty. In a legitimate offline environment, backing up as much as possible and "turtling" is a completely legit strategy. It's not very effective if the opponent keeps getting a life lead, but it can really bury impatient opponents. I don't think I've ever heard of someone complain about turtling offline now that I think about it...

Thats not the only match Im talking about. Idk why you're taking it personal. Least salty person you will meet. Already made my point.

Someone makes a point contrary to you doesn't mean salty

I don't really care, I'm just saying it like I see it lol. Doesn't have any effect on me. Point is, if you have a problem with turtling, learn how to deal with it or forfeit those matches.

You see what you want. Pay attention to top players and see how much time they spend turtling. I'm guessing people tell you you turtle so hits a nerve.

Watch someone like Gehaktbal, HajinShinobi, etc. and you'll see if you have a life lead, you don't have an obligation to approach the opponent. I rarely ever play online, but if someone says I "turtle", I laugh in their fucking face lol. I get more complaints that I "mash too much" then turtling ironically enough.

Ok you're tell us what we know. If you're strategy Is bassed around turtling that doesn't make sense to me. Makes fight dry af. If Im in a pinch or unsure I seek space. Thats just me. Agree to disagree.

It's fine to believe that. Everyone has their perspective on things. But if you, or anyone loses to turtling, it's on you to discover a way to deal with it. A small tip: What do I do if someone turtles me? I run-up and block in their face. Startles the shit out of them lol.

I do that too. If they still don't get a hint, then I run up and command throw/OH throw. It's a bit riskier but if the match is at a standstill, it will make things interesting. I honestly don't mind dealing with turtling (not saying anyone here does haha). And I would check ihajin's youtube for creative ways to unturtle someone.

Part of my playstyle is making the opponent crack by simply not doing anything. aka, "turtling" or whatever you prefer to call it, can be a form of pressure this way because someone grows so impatient.

By believing a match turns up being "dry" is trying to play by your rules only. If you want a match to be that way, then you need to force it. If I am not being forced into anything, I have no reason to care about how my opponent plays.

You pick Zack and you want to be agressive, that's fine. I will pick Zack but and will still play a super patient style, and it will work. Just ask Hoodless, because he also does it. It's just good and strong fundamental play.
