I do sort of agree with that, Brute, but I mean the gameplay with all my characters have gone stale as well. It's not just all the stages (even though I've grown quite tired of those as well). That's why I am excited to get a new character to try out, and hopefully enjoy playing.
Getting stale is partially why I'm leaving on a mini break once I get Senran Kagura (comes the same day as the new stage/Naotora), I just can't feel it anymore like even playing with my usual DOA buddies can't save it anymore atm...
Ah, I see. I guess it's just something that eventually happen to fighting game players. I've been playing a ton of SMITE lately, to fill the space after DOA got stale. I am getting back into DOA once Naotora and the "new/old" stage comes in a couple of weeks, though.
Fortunately a bunch of games are coming out in the next few months to keep me occupied including DOAX3 so I'll still be playing DOA I just won't be playing the fighting game much lol
DOA5LR has over 35 stages, how the hell can someone get bored of them when the average FG has less than 20 stages? (SFV has 10). The stages are also miles more interactive and influential than the stages in any other fighting game. The main reason why people get bored of DOA is because not enough people actually put in enough effort to dig deeper into the game's depth and only play it on a superficial level.
My reason for getting bored with LR has nothing to do with any of that... I can't really describe it with words, I'm just not feeling it anymore when I'm playing I barely play/try and I just end up wishing I was playing something else. I feel this way if I'm playing friends, randoms or CPU. It doesn't matter I just can't find any insperation to play.
Having no offline without needing to pay £100+ just for a few hours or anyone in my area that even likes DOA puts a damper on things as well since I hate this games online.
The character is superfluous waste.
