Dental insurance rarely covers implants because they're seen as cosmetic when in truth they're necessary when you lose a tooth

I had this bad tooth for a year and a half and didn't do nothing about it because fear of the bill.

Health insurance won't cover it as it separate from dental. Not sure how it works in other countries.

With dental they don't cover implants and even if they did the maximum for year is around $1000-$1500.

Which tooth is it? Front or back, top or bottom

one of the back molars and on bottom. It like chipped. If im lucky enough I won't have to get an implant and go with the root canal treatment.

If it does end up getting pulled ask for a temporary.. I forget what the dentist called it. It's basically like a partial denture but one tooth. Won't stop the bone loss in your jaw but it'll keep the teeth around it where they should be. Dunno how much they cost but it's a hell of a lot less

Since it's on the bottom you have more time to think about/possibly save up for an implant. On top you need more bone (it gradually shrinks where a tooth is missing over time) for an implant screw because that's where your sinuses are

A bridge is a good option too. You should need a bone graph if you go with a bridge
