He has plenty of under-used moves, as well as some pretty nasty tech involving resets and forcetechs. He's also, in my opinion, the best character to safe throw with, a 3P puts the opponent at +30 even at max SE, he's definitely not strong, but he's definitely not weak either.

With all of that said, he's still the worst, if not, then bottom 2 in the game lol

Most say Phase-4 is the worst in the game because of how unsafe she is. Then some also say Eliot is the worst since he's linear and has so many mid/high punches. Personally, as an Ein/Hayate player I think Ein has a lot going for him but he definitely struggles a lot compared to most of the cast. Not to mention, he has to work his ass off against Christie/Helena. Those MUs suck for Ein.

I hate when People say that Eliot is worse.. Eliot has a parry, an i9 high, and a reset throw. Eliot it linear, but ALL of his strings retrack. And PHASE?? Are you serious? lol come on man. i9 high and an i11 mid. Damage, ADV counters, It virtually impossible to beat Phase out at neutral.

That's what most say. Personally, I think there is no such thing as worst character. With how this game is designed via the triangle system, everyone has a chance to win. Now some do indeed struggle more than others. Ein is one of them, I agree. But I'm still doubtful that he is the worst. What are your reasons for why he is the worst though? Just curious.

Outdated strings, Unsafe. The first reason is the main one. He's had the same strings since 1999. His 6p+k was his best Whiff punisher in DOA4, but now it's too slow to work properly, and it's unsafe. 4k is still good but it's also a few frames slower. Those were his go to moves in the last game, Now they don't work nearly the same.

yeah that's true. TN pretty much left his moveset the same all these years, with the exception of 1P being added in LR. A lot of Ein players have requested for 6P+K to revert back to its original properties in 4, though TN doesn't plan to do that since it's his Critical burst. Ein doesn't get any love man lol. I wouldn't be surprised if he gets cut from DOA6.

Honestly, Ein is my TRUE main character in front of Hayate, he's just too difficult to win with at high level. They could have easily made his p+k his CB considering the fact that a lot of characters have follow ups to their CB's.

LR is a game where i honestly think there are no low tier characters, just mid low ones. I'd argue NyoTengu and Naotora are on Ein's level or lower, i also don't buy the Eliot argument, if anything Eliot is just above Ein, the only things he has over Ein are his 7P and throw game, and even that's saying much, Eliot doesn't have an OH, and both character's approach is about the same.
