They are all so different..... What's your play style ? If you like Zoning and Footsies go with Momiji, if you have talent for Poking and Bum Rushing then go with Kasumi. If you're a stone cold Bonofied Motherf#cker go with Nyotengu.
@Lulu i say the exact same thing. It really depends on your play style and definitely your base knowledge of the character. If it were me... I would go with Momiji or Nyo Tengu.
Well I main Helena lol so I'm pretty aggressive and rush down. I know Kasumi would fit that better than the other two but tbh the thing I cared about most was their costumes lol I love my Japanese women and their kimonos I'll pick up all three eventually
Momiji's style is pretty simple.... kinda like a street fighter character. Engage in some footsies.... Hitconfirm then Stun Launch into one of the simplest yet damaging juggles DoA has to offer. Nyotengu is some weird aboministic Combination of Bass and Momiji. Its difficult to describe her style.
I may be annoyed with Helena for certain mechanical choices that make no sense to me, but the character herself actually has a strong identity within the game and a purpose to be there. Her fighting style is unique and gameplay-wise she theoretically holds a sensible balance of pros and cons (in reality that's not true, but I'm fond of theory).
Momiji, however, is nothing but sloppy seconds. Almost her entire moveset is comprised of other characters' moves strung together in a choppy and disjointed way that hardly makes any sense. Her few unique moves are absolutely wretched in visual aesthetic and in game function, and any claim that she was a well thought-out and uniquely crafted character are quite frankly bullshit.
Momiji is a random composite of crap that comes together to be frustrating to face in certain MUs but in no way satisfying to engage. There's a wholeness that is lacking in her identity, and people that gravitate towards her are in one of three categories:
1) They think she's hot.
2) They're noobs and like to mash buttons online with success.
3) They're assholes who like to pretend that employing stupid bullshit with success makes them mighty and respectable.
