Yep, I loved it! I'm gonna go into chapters 2-3 tonight, it was pretty quick to getting to the action which I liked XD. Btw, when they did that organ transplant on him, did they use the ghoul girl for it??

the anime was so bad despite having never read the manga i knew season 2 was pure bullshit and i was right. though i absolutely hated when the manga continued it felt like so much character development was put on hold which pretty much ruined my reading experience because i kept expecting a return to that when it was pretty much "no care about these characters now"

That's why I avoided the anime myself XD that's usually my go to when seeing new stuff but Fiend even told me the Manga was better.

its not just better. the second half of the anime just stops making sense because the author said "yeah what if the main character did whats completely out of character for him instead" tons of character building and plot is left out, but all the same events are done with the change having zero effect on the outcome of things.

Its because Season 2 is an anime original story. It was really dumb, but I enjoyed it for what it was.

To this day, people say Touka is still running...haha :p

When you finish Tokyo Ghoul, before moving on to RE (If you do) watch season 1 & 2. You will find out how bad it was. Season 1 was good but jesus christ, season 2 man LOL, especially the last episode.

And man, when it was airing on TV. The censorship was so bad. They inverted the colors in some scenes, blacked out 90% of the screen in others. Was such a mess lmao.

the only good part about it was the ending because it converged back into the cannon.

Gotcha, I'll definitely watch it after I read to see how bad it is XD
