Once every 4 to 6 months I may play the first Tales of Symphonia or something along those lines. Often for the wrong reasons, speed-running, or to test some endings.
i actually have a ton i want to get through, but right now im focusing on Fire Emblem Fates and God Eater Resurrection. i also have SMT4 and Trails of Cold Steel
Is that a serious question? Persona 5 just released with huge success and in November Final Fantasy XV and Pokemon Sun/Moon will release. Each of these games is set to sell more than the whole DOA series as a whole, lol.
In Persona are you still getting the same recycled environments over an and over again or does it actually give you some form of diversity? I used to play, but it's been a long time, and I stopped played Persona 3 because the lack of environments was causing me to go nuts.
I'm neither a Persona fan nor expert but the last two games received high critical acclaim and P5 is apparently bigger and more open than ever.
If you dread few, small, repetitive environments, ever thought of playing Final Fantasy XV? It's going to be open world and mixes JRPG with Western RPG.
Yes, it is real time action combat. There will be female guest party members, like Luna or Iris, but you will only control Noctis over the course of the game.
I play both Xenoblades regularly and I'm near the end of the first, and then when I'll finish it I'll alternate between Skies of Arcadia and FFXII, not to mention the thought of restarting Chrono Cross or Paper Mario: TTYD. Then I also need to restart Breath of Fire IV and maybe check out Treasure of the Rudras. Oh and there's that Chrono Trigger file I left at Zeal...
Since Xenoblade was mentioned. The first one (for Wii) might be great for @deathofaninja. It is very open, has huge and varied environments, it is kinda turn-based (cool down system) and you can play as lots of different characters, among them girls. It's also imo the best JRPG of the last console generation. ;)
