1) The alter ego of Hayate that has the most swag and the strongest fists of all in the DOA cast.
2) Dislikes: TN barely improving on him at all. Likes: His first three costumes and shades. A badass power blow. Deadly fists and badass punches (Note that his 4P+K is the most damaging strike of 70 dmg in the game when fully charged) and all of his quotes, intros, and outros.

1) Ein is the karate badass alter ego of an amnesiac Hayate from DOA2, DOAD canon suggests he still uses it on occasion. 2) I like that Ein is simple to use and pretty effective as a spacer, I used him alot in DOAD and never looked back. He's very rewarding to use and to win with and his move set makes him look flashy and cool whilst doing it.

I dislike the majority of his outfits, I can only tolerate his leather pant and chain outfit and occasionally his karate one without the shades. He's also somewhat simple personality wise and there's not much interesting about him but it's better than Hayate. His move set also is pretty sucky in comparison to the previous games which I strongly abhor.

1) I know that if TN manages to write Ein back in the story as canon, it will be as an evil twin spawned from the remnants of the destroyed lab. It'll be Kasumi Alpha all over again. Might even serve as a basis to get Hitomi more directly involved in the central plot.

2) I refuse to answer. It may offend fans of the character.

Oh yeah, in case everyone's wondering, I listed all the character names in small pieces of paper and added it in this roulette box that shuffles the small pieces, so whoever I draw gets picked without me looking at it. Been doing it since the beginning.

He's the raddest dude around, proof that putting shades on everything makes it substantially more badass, even a turtle in a gi. I think his title in DOA5 is also the sickest, ''Fists without a Past''. I wish he was given more story relevance though, even if it was just Hayate tapping into his old style.

Everyone loves this character. Back in DOA2, everyone had a pocket Ein, lol. I guess his lack of good costumes is the only bad thing about him, I can tolerate his difficulty gameplay-wise, as long as the hold system exists, Ein will never truly be the worst character in the game.

1) He's a cool "version" of a boring and lame character. 2) I like how simple he is to use and even though he didn't improve since DOA2, he can still be effective, also : "TORIYAH!!!". I dislike the lame version of his character.

1) He is Hayate. Hayate is him.

2) The only thing i like about him is his win quotes. I don't like how plain he is. He's not really interesting nor is he fun to play as. Hayate's cool but I can't say the same about Ein.

Oh and I hate how his hair model is missing the shine effect like Hayate has, it gives his hair a dirty vibe I'm not a fan of.

@UpSideDownGRUNT buddy care to share your thoughts since you main him? :-)

1)The usual. 2) I prefer him over Hayate. He looked very cute and sexy in DOA2. Wish he got more cool outfits though, even if I like some of his fanservice ones. Not very fun to use.
The shades in DOA5 are obviously a reference to Itagaki.

I know almost everything about him. His story, his combos, his gameplay. He is one of my favorite DOA characters. As someone that plays both Ein and Hayate, I definitely agree Ein is much cooler. He is fun as hell to play. He's got the cool shades, that badass Vigaku music and the death fists.

As for dislikes, I just don't like how little his move set has changed. It's been almost the same all these years and he could really use more tools.

I forgot to throw in a few more things. His featherweight combo challenge was a complete nightmare but his title when completing all combo challenges 'This is the Ultimate form of combat' was badass. Not to mention, Vigaku is still better than most if not all of the DOA music for more than a decade.

Vigaku was ahead of its time TBH, that and blazed up whatever in DOA2 for Helena, they're definitely themes that stood out. The remix is sick

When he was an unlockable character in DOA3, his default costume with a long black jacket had a very strong resemblance to Neo from The Matrix, which was extremely popular at the time.

He was Hayate, who at the time of DOA2 had amnesia. He will remember everything once he fights Kasumi close to the end of the tournament. He's incredibly fun to play with, a character that's simple, but effective. No dislikes, cause this guy has some good vibrations.
