Maybe the ride will be bumpy, but I'm willing to take the hits if we're going to land where we need to be. So yeah I'll take that pilot. Because I don't care if the other will land me safely in another country if I'm getting shot as soon as I get off the plane.

So your defense of Trump is predicated on the fact that he's angry with things? Even better.

I can think of some demagogues and dictators that "change[d] things because [they hated] them." Not the most flattering basis for a political leader.

well you got your guy , he wants to to create more private jail's so he can send your black friends away for a long time for petty drug violations for years , oh and theses new prisons will be built on top of factories owned by walmart/mcdonalds etc... so its like kanye says new slaves buddy .. gj

Keep dodging my point. Look, we're not going to agree on this Brute, we stand on opposite sides but I've always respected you and your opinions/views on things even when I disagreed, and I still do now.
Zeo
Zeo
So you can respect me back despite our differences, or you can be like other Hillary supporters, disparage, belittle or insult me because I think differently than you. Call me a bigot/uneducated or anything else you like. I voted for Donald Trump, and I don't regret it for a second. I decided to take a chance on our country because I believe there's a chance we can be something greater.
Zeo
Zeo
And everybody may not agree but that's the point of the U.S period. Respecting each others views and coming together even though we're different. Maybe Donald hasn't appeared to be all for that, but he announced it as President in his very first speech, and I choose to believe him.

He says he'll make America great again, and I'm going to let him try. You should too, might just surprise you.
Brute
Brute
I'm not dodging your point. I am continually addressing your points, which seem to come back to, "I choose to believe Donald Trump when he says he will try to do right by the American people." I can't do that because I know better. I happen to be a pretty good judge of character.
Brute
Brute
You might recall how I am often accused of being a jaded cynic for judging people "too early." Then time passes and everyone eventually says, "Oh, yeah. Brute was right from the start." It's like that, expect instead of being a pompous DOA player it's the President of the United States.
Zeo
Zeo
You're giving yourself way too much credit. And usually I'd agree with you on judge of character cause your track record is pretty good but no one is right 100%. You're basically writing him off. I thought we weren't supposed to do that.
Zeo
Zeo
At the end of the day the base fact is this, I can choose to "play the slots" as most would say I'm doing or i can screw myself over guaranteed.

Maybe other people call that foolish or whatever, I have nothing else to lose as far as I'm concerned, my people are already getting shot in the street.
Zeo
Zeo
You probably think I'm naive or something like that since you said you "know better" and my argument is that I "believe" him but the only argument you seem to have for Hillary who's been proven corrupt is that "she's not Trump". That doesn't make me feel any better. How is this not simply voting for the lesser of two evils?
Brute
Brute
That's exactly what a vote for Hillary is. The lesser of two evils. I never liked Hillary even a smidgen. The idea is that Hillary is almost entirely amoral, and is only interested in furthering her career. Thus, she is likely to bend to the whims and wishes of those around her, as we've seen.
Brute
Brute
So a vote for Hillary is actually "playing the slots," because at each instance you pull the lever and wait to see what lucky lobbyists or advisers come up in each reel to influence her decision making. That's a horrible system, but it's better than the options Trump offers.
Brute
Brute
The only way Hillary would turn out worse than Trump is if she were consistently landing on advisers who are worse than Trump. Which, while possible, is not as statistically probable as the 100% chance you'll get a Trump choice on every issue by having Trump in office instead, since he "consults himself" on all matters, even ones he is clueless about.
Zeo
Zeo
That last part is untrue for a number of reasons, he has all the advisory tools in office at his disposal, he's not a politician but he's surrounded by them and it's hard to imagine the president isn't going to take sound consul from more experienced politicians on matters he has little experience in.
Brute
Brute
It's actually not hard to imagine that at all.
Zeo
Zeo
The point of this is learning what's right, he's putting his own spin on things, and that scares the crap out of people.
Zeo
Zeo
The only way Trump would turn out worse than Hilary would be if he literally plunged us further in war. Because people are already getting killed in the street, the nation is already in debt, people already are in poverty, but the lesser of two evils is someone that literally doesn't care about that and only furthering her own agenda.
Brute
Brute
When his spins are myopic bigotry then yes, people will be alarmed.
