Free Step Dodge

I.....have a bad feeling about this one lool.

1)The master of Eliot and one of the original DOA competitors, entered the earlier tournaments to help pay for his granddaughter's medical bills due to sickness and will apparently be training Eliot in his style come DOA6. 2)He's fine imo, I like his character and the fact that he's an old master, old people imo are awesome. His outfits, voice, and personality are pretty cool.

I like his simple but effective moveset and how he can do a lot by simply remaining up close and going ham. I dislike dealing with his old ass. XD He's so cheap, that sitdown stun followed by another and then another is just too much for me, even with Kasumi who's the fastest character I use he can quickly overwhelm you and force you to back off a distance to even do anything.

He fought in the first tournaments for the sake of his granddaughter, but now he's just Eliot's teacher/mentor. He can be annoying due to his good moves and damage output, throws that lead to mix-ups or guaranteed damage...which you can discard for even more throws or mix-ups. However, if one reads a Gen-Fu player quite well, then often he will get throw punished or mid punch/kick held.

1) He is an old man that is not that easy and the master of Eliot. 2) His damage output is pretty scary when used well, adn he is cool in his looks and personiality.

1) I know his story, backstory, etc.
2) I really like Gen Fu. I like all stereotypical chinese Kung Fu masters. He is fun to use and his outfits are cool, and his story is very noble. His ending in DOA3 almost made me cry.

I dislike... nothing in particular.

1) I know he was the first character I ever used in the series. But it was for DOA1, and only DOA1. I also know he was doing the Shoulder Lean before Young Dro...

2) I like his out-of-nowhere sense of humor, especially in DOAD. The line "I'm no one special... actually I'm the best." comes to mind. Don't really have any dislikes about him, he's the guy I started off playing, after all.

He's already dead XD I overkilled his ass in legend arcade mode using Kasumi's 6P2K over and over, the only place where I even have remotely 1/5 a chance

1) He is Eliot's master.

2) I like damn near everything about Ol' Gen Fu. I like his fighting style, his costumes(especially his tiger striped ones), and he has the coolest tag throws. I don't like the fact that he's Eliot's master. It would be better if he was somebody else's master.

I don't use him that much but he's still one of my favorite DOA characters.

Gen's story is actually pretty interesting, you wouldn't really expect that, they could have easily, easily made him the common pervy old man stereotype character, specially in DOA, but they decided to give him an actual personality, that's pretty cool.
