Kokoro is in Japan. Only Kasumi in my character pool is considered top tier, Eliot, Phase and Ein are considered the worst and Mai is yet to be determined. Naotora I say is mid but Hajin says she's really good and I'm sure she's top tier in japan, but idc really for tiers
With what exactly? Japan ranks characters based on whiff punish and attack range potential which is why Hayate is considered top tier over there, US tier is more superficial in regards to versatility and tools.
Alpha players have been taking it since release. I think it's because people immediately dismissed the character, and then when Xcal beat Shade's ass with her, they blamed it on Shade not being familiar with the character and before you know it the character is up for a ban, after she was patched.
7K was god-like at release -- I don't think the Team knew how effective it was going to be; and perhaps wondered if anyone would even touch let alone unlock the character.
I guess what irritates me the most still is that people were too salty to ever admit they were wrong about Alpha. She wasn't a terrible character. Now they call her boring or attack players (not here but certainly in yt comment videos) "she's a character for those that don't know how to play."
And I really actually think Christie is getting far less heat now. My biggest problem with Christie is her usage rate actually. People saw what she could do and hopped on the train and acted like they were the best players in the game with newly found cockiness. But I just can't bag people for wanting to use her because they actually like her. Not just using her for what she can do.
