1) A worthy apprentice and the future Gen Fu of DOA!

2) I dislike how people keep calling him gay, dislike his default DOA5 hairstyle and his nervous and unconfident attitude in DOA5. Likes: In terms of appearance, I like his alternate hairstyle, his c5 which resembles Gen Fu's c1, and the costume Tyaren designed for him.

I like his fighting style. While his strings are quite predictable, a lot of them have delays so I could easily bait people into holds. Quite a number of his attacks are powerful, such as his 46P enders, 236K, and 66P+K. His Choryu can seriously cause the opponent to take a lot of damage from combos, and find it satisfying to pull off quickly and consistently.

However, he is classified as shit tier in DOA5. Still, he's my third favourite male. (2nd being Ein and 1st being Busa) and my 4th favourite character in the roster. I like his Choryu so much that I sometimes juggle my opponent with plenty of Choryus instead of doing 46P string ender.

1)He's the somewhat non confident apprentice of Gen Fu and has overcame his insecurities after a slap and pep talk from Ayane in DOA3. DOA's resident pretty boy bishonen(Which was somewhat nerfed in DOA5 via his redesign) and brit and one of the more underrated but powerful characters. Apparently lived with Brad Wong traveling the world.

1) The usual, story and backstory. 2) I think that, as a story character, he is cool, at least that's what I thought when I saw his DOA4 ending. Gameplay wise, I had more fun with Gen Fu.

Eliot also has some nice chinese outfits.
I dislike how people call him unmanly and gay just for his appearance.

Eliot is the only male character in the cast aside from Leon and other married men (and Raidou..... :/) who has shown to be attracted to women so honestly everybody else has a bigger chance to be gay.

2) I like everything about Eliot, he's my favorite male in the series and relatable since he's my age and he stands out from the older males. I like most of his outfits, his personality and voice and style, and his theme is OK. I dislike his secondary hairstyle and he can be somewhat cringey when around the girls in story mode which I find uncomfortable... overall he's a great character imo.

I really like his perseverance and resolution. His design (aside from some outfits) is not particularly amazing tho.

@Hayabusiness: It doesn't help that he was voiced by a top-tier voice actress who specializes in androgynous female/male characters.

I mean, this is Junko-friggin'-Minagawa we're talking about.

I also dislike how he's considered low tier even though he has some pretty great tools and damage output. I'm also sick of all the "oh he's a twink/gay and unmanly" bullshit, even after he was buffed up in DOA5 with his design and personality, people always hate.-_- And I ship him with Kasumi, Ayane can go jump off the whitewater valley bridge.

@KasumiLover69 Lol, you ship Kasumi and Eliot? That just seems as stupid as shipping Eliot and Kokoro as they never interacted with each other. (No offence of course)

However, I do agree that the hate he is getting because of his bishonen appearance is annoying.

True but I was playing them in tag one day and then I looked at them and realized that they look great together XD Plus I feel he's the only one in the series who deserves her, and she's one year older too, older women points ♡.♡

If you're talking about older women points then Momiji would be a better choice because they are both apprentices of great masters (Gen Fu and Hayabusa). And apparently, did you know that Gen Fu and Hayabusa share a tag throw? I have a feeling that both of them are eventually going to meet.

Yeah I knew, if Dimensions is anything to go by Gen fu knows Ayane and Hayate and Kasumi, hayabusa probably knows him through the ninjas

Reading this conversation, I remembered that I do dislike how FORCED his relation to Ayane is. It's really pulled out of nowhere.

Eliot's story is cool. I like the fact his relationship with Gen is more of a ''father-son'' rather than ''master-disciple'', like Brad says in DOA4, Gen Fu has been alone all his life, he has a chance to pass on to his legacy while he's able to feel what the closest thing to a son is like. It's cool, it gives both characters a lot more depth.

I think the allegations towards him being gay come from his design, he looked like a straight up girl in DOA4, he looked like a young Irene from NG, lol. He's also pretty short for his age and considering he's british, they did a good job with his more masculine appearance in DOA5 though, I hope there's a minor time jump in DOA6 and Eliot looks drastically older and more badass, but, we'll see.
