Good to hear! I've been unable to use my ps3 for a while so I mostly just DOA on ps4. I miss tekken tho, Lili and Anna are callin' for me and T7 is still a ways off >.>

I still don't have a PS4 but I've definitely upped my game over the past year or so. I started attending offline weeklies here, had my first legit tournament 2 weeks ago, and met some real good people in the community.

That sounds great! I've been trying to do the same myself, only online tourneys though because of school. XD

Currently trying to shake this rust off of my Akira while not only practicing my Tekken game but also making sure I'm still tournament ready in BlazBlue. Taxing on my hands lol

I recently got tekken tag 2 on my 360... I'm not feeling the game that much to be honest. The character models are weird, blocking is weird, frame data feels weird, and i feel a severe lack of mid strikes, and the guts system on the arcade mode bosses are weird as well.

There's mid strikes, it just depends on who you use, Lili has alot of them and true mods but Anna lacks any fast ones, she has mostly highs and lows. I might also get into KOF if I get it this Christmas and if I have anyone to play

Tekken has PLENTY of mids. I really enjoy Tekken because you can't just throw yourself at the opponent like you can in DOA and just completely overpower them. Also what is this guts system? Isn't that a Guilty Gear thing?

Yeah, but on Tekken Tag 2 arcade modes, the 2 final bosses have it, Ogre and Unknown, basically gives the enemy more deffense values the lower their health is, so, extending their life bar.

I just wish i could understand how blocking works, it seems that pressing nothing will make you block.

The lack of any tutorial whatsoever is also a problem, i have no idea the systems in place of this game.

The combot missions are the games tutorial. Also you literally just move backwards to block, nothing crazy lol

Playing Arcade Mode won't help you play Tekken either. Just do Ghost Battles until you can find a scene of some sorts.

wait, the tutorial mode is under "customizing this character" instead of practice mode? well, i'll have to look into this now.

Yeah, the fight lab description says about equiping and customizing combot, so that is why i never looked there. Also, i'm not finding a scene for a fighting game where i live, not now, not ever, i'm just doing this to have a grasp on how the game plays when tekken 7 arrives, and then, i'll play online if the game has good netcode.

Yeah pressing nothing will block high or you can hold back, you have to crouch to block low though. And yeah that's how the bosses work, Jun is the best one imo, her stage is really beautiful plus the looping zen music ♡.♡
