It doesn't really matter where she can tech up or not, or how she can tech up, the lack of a wake-up kick makes the other player relentless in his offense and pressure whenever she gets knocked down, forcing her to eat everything the other player throws at her. You need good defense with Alpha if you want to win a lot.

LoL. Get Knocked Down with a Wall behind you and tell me Teching Side Ways makes no difference.
Wake Up Kicks are obviously powerfull but this has a knock on effect of making Teching seem pointless.
Personally I think the power of Wake Up Kicks are overstated and the Ways in which you can Tech are underrated.

Ahh, yeah, forgot about a wall, and what can happen to an Alpha player that's behind the wall. Yeah, in that case it can make a lot of difference. Yeah, a good example would be certain unblockables and/or unholdables. If you don't tech up, you don't have to deal with them, but you still have to deal with whatever comes next.
