Ah nah, DOA's character roster are all universally grounded now in DOA5 compared to the previous versions of DOA, so they had no choice but to not bring those moves in at all including the moves that come with it from VF.

As for the back throw (4T assuming), it has some positive uses for gaining advantage or placing them in a certain situation. 4T shines well if you are placed near a wall/cliff/DZ etc. while they perform an unsafe move or just sitting there and you place "them" in the wall/cliff/DZ instead.
