@Force_of_Nature of course! I mostly play as femshep than broshep which I also agree with your comment. Garrus is femshep's main guy and Kelly plus the Asari is her side species... Kaiden was just a phase XD
Too bad Shepard isn't in this game. ME2 is one of my all time favorite games. ME3 sucked ass and this one looks like it's gonna be worse. Gotta love Bioware's evolving pretension with each new release.
@Brute Yeah, it would been better if they rebooted it, but whatever. I also love ME2 which is what introduced me into the world of Mass Effect. ME3 was ok the reason why I really tolerated it was because of the Citadel DLC, but the ending even with the extended cut still pissed because after doing everything in ending old grudges and making every species come to full circle you still don't get a happy ending.
And top it off the DLCs such as Leviathan was a spit in the face because all you get was a war asset and a extra dialogue in the final part. Omega was a another disappointment because it just more than a 2-3 hour mission with some tedious task such as finding a couch and you don't really explore omega, but go to one base to another and get a another squadmate the Arrival DLC was a lot better than this shit.
@Force_of_Nature Yeah, developers, designers and writers were leaving left and right once EA bought them I wanna say after ME2. I always wanted to play KoTOR and Dragon Age: Origins. @Brute how is Inquisition? I saw it on sale and wanted to know is it worth playing.
Well, mixed. If you like checklist-y type stuff, it's a large and fun game, and the combat here is at its best in terms of gameplay in the Dragon Age department. However, the story itself is quite boring, and unlike Origins...
...you don't have a full cast of interesting supporting characters to carry things along scene by scene. There are some notable scenes but they are outweighed by the more mundane ones tenfold. This changes in the Tresspasser DLC, which actually has a great story that expands on the world lore through interesting characters in good ways.
Lool, no it's mainly for the atmosphere and the story. I really love the mystery that the first ME has. Also the planet exploration even though it's kinda repetitive it's more open world than 2 and 3. The other ones are mostly corridor shooters and lack the tactics that ME 1 has.
The combat in ME1 was basically turning the assault rifle into a long range machine gun that never overheated with perfect accuracy from miles away. In ME2 it was just spamming the upgraded Slam biotic ad infinitum. ME3 had actually the most involved mechanics, but it hardly mattered since the rest of the game was such a mess.
