You can platinum it ingame, if you do three playthoughs there's a hidden store which lets you buy the platinum trophy, I won't use it but hey its there!
Once you get through the final credits you have the option to clear your save. I chose to clear my save to help someone who can't beat the game. Then theres my cloud save, but it only has ending A, B, and G instead of A,B,C,G and Y.
I have to do some of the stuff such as grinding the items to max my weapons and pods again. Level grinding is not tedious as the material gathering and then there the secret endings... Meh, I rather just play it from the beginning through the end again whenever I feel like coming back and enjoying it once more.
Fair enough although I'm wondering...does that erase thing really help anyone?? I played offline mostly and don't understand how it helps since it's not multiplayer, plus if the person just uses easy it's impossible to not beat it XD
Well, it's a Yoko Taro game so the whole clear data is really no suprise with the exception to new comers. The network connection has it benefits because a user's body can either help you by heal and give you money, chips and temp skill or assists if you having difficulty in battles or it be corrupted and turn against if the body has been deceased for a long period, but you get some exp when defeated.
