Nah, I think the art style is good as it is. Pretty realistic but with a little touch of anime. characters will look automatically a bit more realistic when the models get more detail in polygons, textures and lighting.
Especially the mens' bodies are in need of a few more polygons.

No. DoA 5 already got drastically more realistic then previous games that were anime.

The current art works is fine, but I still prefer an awesome character art design to all DOA cast who would be like Mari Shimazaki. (Bayonetta, BandaiNamco franchises)

I'm happy with the artstyle, the skin and body for the girls is insane with all the detail. They should improve the other stuff tho like make more thicker and more realistic hair and bangs, improve male bodies to make them on par with girls, and add more physics and further refine the sweat effect
