Exact same thing happened to me. Saw gameplays, saw reviews, thought it looked awesome, bought the game, only played it for about 3 months then not played since.

Did you play KOF13 before? But yes, KOF14 can be a bit divisive. Try GG: Xrd also.

between the boss being such a pain it twasn't even fun to beat arcade mode, and trying online only to get totally stunlocked from jabs, i basically gave the hell up after only playing a couple hours lol. Like with the previous KOFs I got (XIII and 2002 UM) i just enjoy watching the moves in training mode but suck too bad to enjoy actual matches.

ayep. MK, 3rd Strike, MvC2 and 3, Jojo, etc. Owned BB but didn't play much of it.
Granted i haven't played a 2d fighter in years but I basically just put the controller down and AFK'd the match after realizing my character wasn't responding to any inputs due to enemy constantly jabbing. Not a good first impression.
