Tekken has instant stage resets doesn't it? I just press X and the panel button and it resets

Tekken does have stage reset. Just loading times are a pain in the ass.

And of course Tekken 7 has to waste time with the "Get Ready For the Next Trai.... Battle!" just for training. DOA5LR's stage resets actually are instantaneous. If you mash them, the characters look like they're bobbing their heads lol. Tekken 7 needs to patch the shit out of their load times.

Are they that long? When I play it only takes about 10 seconds which is about the same time as a DOA stage for me

@KasumiLover69 I think its faster on pc. But in tekken if you stage reset after breaking the floor or wall, it takes like 5 to 6 seconds to reload the stage, making practicing a lot more troublesome than it needs to be. While in doa its always instantaneous even if you've done stage transitions and such. And other stuff is just faster in general. Hopefully if we get a doa 6 it'll be the same.

I also hope they fix stage lag too, DOA does still have it in the Crimson and Azuchi but then again those stages are pretty much pushing the ps4 to the limits with everything in them

I never believe that ''pushing the console to its limits'' reasoning for things because i always see so many lagless things in games that look like they should be killing it lol. Especially if its open world. The home stage has tons going on to but it doesnt have that. Feels like its more something they just didn't program exactly right maybe.

For Tekken 7 I'm pretty sure the game is just poorly optimized. To be fair, DOA5LR is poorly optimized on XBone compared to PS4.
