But it sounds like you are looking for the actual meaning of Bokuho, which I hear stands for "Motion phase of the North". Doesn't seem like a word that's in their actual text, but probably something outside of it. Can't say because it's also mentioned in other martial arts in Wushu that gives it a different meaning and context.

Thanks for the info. Indeed, I had reached the same conclusion, I just though it meants something like "low" or "duck". Where did you get "motion phase of the north" ? :)

I have found "air defense artillery", I could see this translation working.

Actually if someone has the translation of her command list, I would love that.

It was mentioned in one of the Chinese movies regarding Wushu and it was a documentary of different fighting styles. It also mentioned a fighting style that Pai uses (Mizongyi), which is known as Ensei-ken with different sub branches of having Bokuho. Probably means completely different than the two mentioned up there.

The thing with "Bokuho" is that there is no proper meaning since more than one fighting style has this sort of stance thing going around, along with change of definition. It's like the word "Dormant" where one text compares it to sleeping, while another means in suspense or a complete halt. Except Dormant is properly used in proper communication.

There was a guy on gamefaqs and on FB who was trying to figure out the move translation names. Apparently quite a bunch of them were made up names. (Jann Lee's Dragon Gunner, Helena, Sarah etc.) Particularly Jann Lee where he has actual attacks that Bruce Lee has in real life. I suppose in Lee's case, he'd probably think attack names are silly.
