There's so many barriers to break regarding Bloody Roar. I also just remembered that Hudson Soft developed the game and Konami owns the rights to it, however Hudson Soft got bought out by Nintendo years ago (basically they don't even exist anymore) so Konami doesn't even have a studio that works on fighting game in general.
I only played like two of the games if I remember. Honestly, with the whole hype thing going about for that series. I think they could be successful compared to back then since we are at a gen where you can obtain updates and DLC. Overall improvement sort of thing.
Bloody Roar is unlikely to happen. The industry saw what happened to SFV and reviving a game that had, at best, a niche following simply isn't going to happen. I loved the hell out of Bloody Roar and played an absurd amount of the GameCube version (it was better than Extreme) but you gotta be realistic lol.
Yes! Bloody Roar needs a revival, though I hate Konami's guts, especially after treating Kojima like shit. Killer Instinct's reboot went well, I can see a Bloody Roar revival going well to as long as the developer doesn't half-ass it.
