If I think I can tolerate the game at its worst then I'l get it.

I go for games that I will play it for a long time i.e. GTA V, DOA, and PUBG. Also, if I see the game free on Steam, I'll take it of course haha even though I have never heard of the game before lol.

I just look the game up on YouTube and watch some gameplay if I'm not familiar with it.

You want some good games? Aragami, The Order: 1886, Absolver, Ruiner, Shadow Tactics.

The lowest review scores tend to be the worst ones. Usually picky cunts acting as outliers.

Like JRPGs.

JRPG'S are ok. I like their quirkiness (though the genre feels like a potential dying breed on consoles compared to handhelds). I just use Metacritic via Wikipedia to give me an idea if a game will be worth my time or not.

Yeah I played Final Fantasy XIII.... theres no turning back for me. That genre is dead to me.... FOREVER.... unless they can make a JRPG thats no longer than 8 Hours.

FFXIII's not really reflective of the JPRG genre though. It's a 3rd person adventure game, with RPG elements that so happens be Japanese.
