True lack of variety with Zelda's bestiary, and the "dungeons" ... at least Zora's Domain was beautiful

Yeah Persona 5 imo is THE best game of the year, next would be Nier Automata which was also one of the darkest most twisted games I've ever played.

Eh, calling it a "piece of shit" is kinda harsh, but yeah, it better not win GOTY over Persona 5.

The reason it was over hyped is because it was being compared to Skyward Sword & Twilight Princess.

Its all relative, those who suffered those two games obviously praised Breath Of The Wild... they really were that bad.

Games get overrated easily now. Reviewers are out to get paid.

Nah I don't think they're doing it on purpose.

Apparently reviewing Games for money can get very tedious, especially when many games feel the same now...... hence when one game that's even mildly different come they praise it like its the 2nd Coming of Chris.

Yeah it was harsh... but after rethinking those "dungeons" it might be the worst Zelda for me. The first palace in Persona 5 took more creativity than all of those moving animals combined.

One of the things I keep hearing about BOTW is how it doesn't hold your hand..... and I couldn't help but feel like I've heard this before

And that's when I realised Its Dark/Demon Souls all over again .

Its greatest achievement was "Not Holding Your Hand."

The whole "Not holding your hand" notion is overrated in my opinion. A game isn't automatically better because it gives you as little useful info as possible.

Since I've played games I have never seen a game spin a soundtrack so well. It might be the best soundtrack of all time for any game. BotW and FFXV gave me similar feelings but P5's gets everything right. 10/10

Exactly !!! Its so dumb.

It makes me wonder just what type of games does such a person play for them to crave this sort of Design so Badly.

Persona is just a brilliant franchise in general. P3 onwards has been gold.
