The game has pretty good lighting too .

The only thing I like besides Tekken's soundtrack are the Mishimas. Screw everything else.

I think we can all vouch that Tekken's constant is its music. It's the only reason I still play Tekken 1... as a music CD.

When DOA has been the only legit 3D fighter on ps4 for the past few years I can understand why alot of people don't really give it much props. I think it's equal to if not slightly better than LR, well unless DOA6 is better

@KasumiLover69 - I still play Tekken. I still give the game props, but I do believe people give too much credibility on things that shouldn't really be credible for on series.

Tekken has lessened graphic display (it does), Tekken just has a huge fanbase and caters to those that are mostly just interested in the gameplay aspects (me). The problem with DOA is the stigma behind it that Itagaki left behind.

DOA needs to approach it's audience more in a more serious display to showcase the gameplay more than anything else. It does not mean that DOA needs to lessen it's sex appeal. It will always be there. I still give Tekken some props, always did.

Tekken's soundtrack was at it's best on T5.0 and before. There's still some good songs though.

Yeah, Shattered Dreams is a perfect example of a T5 soundtrack that conveys the darker, more somber parts of the series in a track, I wish they went more in that direction since T5 had deep music that reflected the game's back to roots theme

I agree. T5, TT1 and T4 had a lot of music like that. While T6, TT2, and T7 got mostly dubstep, there were some good songs. But, overall the OSTs don't compare to games before them.

I agree that the stigma that Itagaki left behind for DOA did the series no favours. Look at the lukewarm reception DOA5 got with regards to its release, whereas Tekken 7 had massive hype behind it. DOA6 needs to release with a bang and not a whimper. I.e. It needs to have a consistent marketing campaign that promotes the gameplay, not the pre-order bikinis.

@Force_of_Nature Thank you. Unfortunately, the sad fate is that people are against that idea for having more gameplay approach for who knows why. Many people have developed insecurities for it and assume it's to remove the sexual appeal which is not even close to that. It's to show people that DOA is a series that can be taken serious yet they don't want it to be serious? too much contradiction.

Some of those people say "The FGC is afraid of tits" but yet those same people that tell people that, are the same people who are also afraid of evolution and to be upfront for once and defend your series as a fighter. If this was a war, DOA would get punked into a corner every single time. You can keep both, but there is no both if you place priority for one over the other.
