Oh no i actually thought that was hilarious But the regular fighting, just no..i mean its almost like the buttons weren't even responding, and don't even get me started on trying to get deent movement with that d-pad or the stick. :/ just bleeeeh the lack of triggers didn't help either
Still one of the best fighting games on a handheld though, and I personally thought TN did a good job on it (wish they would've waited to release it as DOA5U+ as opposed to being based on DOA5 vanilla). But yeah, fighters on handhelds are very awkward.
Maybe if the vita itself wasnt awkward Wish they'd just try again and make a new handheld. One with all the buttons and maybe make the sticks the same way as the dualshocks so they aren't hyper sensitive.
The Vita is a good size for what it is, though the face buttons could stand to be a little larger. The D-pad is really good and the thumbsticks are ok for a handheld. I personally would have scrapped the back touchpad (touchscreen is good enough) and maybe added a couple trigger buttons somewhere on the back to represent the R2 & L2 buttons. IMO, the Vita is still the best handheld I've ever played on.
Miles better than playing on a smartphone or tablet. Sony may try again at another handheld, though have no plans to at the moment. Too many people would rather play 5 minute time wasters on their phones.
