Nioh deserves to sweep the game OST awards for 2017, but it will probably go to BotW because people are stupid.

Nioh wasn't nominated for Best Score, though I'm pretty sure it is a lock for Best Action Game. NieR: Automata has a high chance at Best Score, though Persona 5 may contest it. What may have hurt Nioh is the large quantity of game time when there's barely any music being played. I will be very disappointed if BotW wins anything this year. Overrated trite.
