How to beat out the opponents moves, when you can actually press a button, unholdables, fuzzy guarding and the meaning of those numbers all that good stuff

You can beat out your opponents moves when you either perform a faster move than them (I.e. i10 > i11) or your advantage allows your move to connect earlier (I.e. i11 @ +2 > i10 @ -2; i11-2 = i9/ i10 + 2 = i12). Unholdables work during the wake-up recovery frames of an opponent.

A fuzzy guard is performed by inputting 33 generally after a move that is blocked which leaves you at approximately -3 to -5. If the fuzzy guard succeeds, you'll avoid a retaliatory throw attempt or block a fast mid like a 6P elbow. Fuzzy guards crouch in 1 frame as opposed to in 4 frames.

Note that with regards to punishment, you need to add 1 frame for throw punishment and 2 frames for strike punishment. I.e. -8 can be punished by an i7 throw, and -12 can be punished by an i10 jab.
