it's definitely not you @King Anubis, don't worry. i'd rather keep that information between me and those who know, to avoid any unnecessary drama, and hopefully discourage anybody who sees it from shitting on others.

statements like that are only going to discourage the more naive, but still competent players from even wanting to show up at tournaments. so I have a hard time seeing the logic in this person's argument.

then, in the most contradictory twist ever, tells them to stop making tech that "they can't even use", and try to practice for a future tournament so that they "stop wasting their time." like, does this person not see what a little statement like that can do to the very players they're calling out?

basically there was someone who, as explained, tried to essentially discredit the work of many people in the community who put time and effort into finding tech by saying that they're not even going to be able to pull it off in a real match or some dumb shit like that.

as for a specific tier list, I don't believe there is one in this game, i'm more on the boat thay every character is viable, and that winning depends on the character. if you were to ask which characters have the best tools, my answer would be something along the lines of; christie, gen fu, lei...

I second what lulu is saying. eliot and phase are nowhere near good, it's much more so the players at that high of a level. just because somebody won a tournament with a character doesn't shoot them up to top tier. if xcal and kwiggle spent their time training with every character, they could...

it's a weird rule. youtubers are losing monetization on certain videos, asking for it back, usually getting it back, and youtube is not offering any kind of communication.
