    If i were to guess the reason for that problem is that they probably assign some sort of number variable to the lobby when you request to open the lobby list, but by the time you choose a lobby, some lobbies might have been disbanded or some might have been created, possibly pushing the lobby...

    Nah what i mean is in VF, when you actually side step an attack and just side stepping normally are 2 different types of side steps.

    Sorry for using your thread but i didn't want to create a whole new topic on it: How does attacking against side step work? In VF it has the half circular and full circular moves and certain tracking moves to work against side stepping, but im curious to know how viable side stepping in DOA5...

    Attacking out of disadvantage is a valid strategy in something like VF. It even gets it's own name. It's mostly when someone is at a disadvantage that they could be put in a throw/mid mixup, but they read the throw and want big damage off it so they go for a launch after being at -5 or so...

    Maybe they took it out of the commands for players but still left it in the AI. I doubt the move has gone entirely from the game at that point, just disabled players to use it.
