Finally got around to trying to bring back DOA character eye portraits for the health bars, it replaces the original names. While the pics are smaller than I'd like and the game seems to include parts from other character crops I did manually, it's better than I thought it would be xD You can use it by placing it in the REDEBLE System layout folder

That's pretty amazing, great mod. Crazy because the last game that did it was DOA5UA (arcades) and it was a feature that they never added to the home consoles nor PC on the last version, it even had the older DOA selecting sound effects.

I also don't see the harm in doing it too. Some fighting games out there have two UI settings with one of them calling (arcade ver.) Does DOA6A have it? huh, never checked. Great work!
