System Elimination/tournament mode up to 8 players (online).

a tournament mode, where there's 8 people and u get a randomly chosen opponent, then winner progresses to the next round with winner form other matches, and finally the the two winners will fight for the ultimate winner of the tournament.

Can this be achieved and do people want such a mode?

Not sure which game you are playing but in DOA5U, there already exists such a game mode for online lobbies.

It's one of the Lobby Match settings in DOA4 and DOA5/U. It was in DOA2U but that is no longer available online.
