Install the game. Once installed right click the game in your library and choose properties. Choose compatibility and select Proton 4. 2-9
Right click the game again in your library and choose properties and pick general. Enter the following into Launch Options. PROTON_NO_ESYNC=1 %command%
Try playing online first. Its possible that not everyone requires an additional file to play online. If you do require the file to play online you can get the file here. https://archive.org/download/doa5lrnetworkerrorfix/USER_DATA_5Z
Now that you have this file you need to place it in the following directory in Linux. /home/YourUserName/.steam/steam/userdata/EveryonesNumberIsDifferentHere/311730/remote
**Please note that I had to create a folder called remote and placed the file inside it**
