Side-Stepping in DOAD?!

Okay, mistake on my part. No actual moves in that video were side-stepped but at the 20 second mark you can see Hitomi circle Helena after being hit into the wall really quickly. This gives me the impression that the free-step-dodge mechanic has been significantly loosened versus DOA4 and gives me a glimmer of hope for the future of the series.

At 1:26 and 1:36 you see Kasumi moving into the background and foreground quite quickly but, at the same time, you see the game's awful and infamous tight move tracking when Tina attempts to 66p+k at the 2:30 mark.

My hype is dead. =(
